Chelsea’s coaches to train Vietnamese teen football players
VietNamNet Bridge – Four coaches of the young team of Chelsea FC will be in Vietnam on February 18-19, to train 180 kids at HCM City’s Hoa Lu Stadium.


In the “Meeting with Chelsea coaches” Festival, the first of its kind in Vietnam, 180 children from schools and sports clubs in HCM City will practice technical and physical training exercises under the instruction of four coaches from Chelsa FC.

These are professional coaches who have international-level certificates and are experienced at training young football talents at the Chelsea Soccer School, where train the future generation for this FC.

This is the cooperation program between Chelsea and Samsum to raise fund and boost the passion for football and develop physical strength for Vietnamese youth.

Vietnam is the fifth country that welcomes coaches of Chelsea, after Ghana, Ivory Coast, South Korea and Japan.

The four Chelsea’s coaches include: Chris Woodward, David Paul Monk, James Lambdon and Sam Hubert.

Chelsea Football Club is an English football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football. Chelsea have been English champions four times, FA Cup winners six times and League Cup winners four times. They have also achieved European success, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice.
